Registration Opens April 1, 2025

To register for the Junior Lifeguard please click on the registration link. An invoice will be emailed out upon processing of your registration. The invoice is from Active our third-party registration site and not from the City of Oceanside.

All fees are refundable prior to the start of the session except for a $100 processing fee. For more information about refunds please call (760) 435-4021. All participants must complete a swim test on one of the schedule dates prior to the start of the session. There will be no 1st day swim tests.

Uniforms will be handed out prior to the start of the session on predetermined days and on the first day of each session.

Fee Schedule-

Session 1 & 3 (M/W/F)

Oceanside Resident: $400.00
Non-Oceanside Resident: $420.00

Session 2 (T/TH) No JG's on July 4th

Oceanside Resident: $350.00
Non-Oceanside Resident: $370.00

Session 4 (T/TH + 1 Extra Day)

Oceanside Resident: $375.00
Non-Oceanside Resident: $395.00

$20 discount will apply for additional family members in the same session or one child in multiple sessions.

Financial Aid

Financial Aid is available for Oceanside residents only. Scholarships are limited and are obtained through the Fire Department Lifeguard Division. Only one scholarship will be issued per family.
