Can we talk coastal erosion? RE:BEACH is Oceanside's Coastal Resilience Design Competition, which aims to generate innovative solutions for the retention of sand along Oceanside's coast.
Only one team, and their winning project design, will be selected to move into final engineering and permitting at the completion of the competition. A jury will select a recommended project, which will be presented to the City Council to consider in January 2024.
Let's hear from you! The City is hosting the second public workshop on Tuesday, October 17 from 4:00 - 7:00 p.m. at the Oceanside Museum of Art (704 Pier View Way). View the three sets of project ideas that have been refined since the first workshop in August. Your input will help the project teams distill their concepts for the third and final workshop taking place December 13, 2023.
