Oceanside Parks and Recreation is excited to bring back our Halloween Spooktacular: Trunk or Treat to our City this year at Mance Buchanon Park on Saturday, October 26th! Trunk Hosts decorate their vehicle and pass out candy at this fun, FREE community event.

The Trunk or Treat is open to the public between 2pm and 5pm. Trunk hosts can expect to be in the lot from 12:30-6pm – there are NO early exits from the event.

Please review the event information/regulations for trunk hosts before registering:

- 1 Registration = 1 car attending

- This is a family-friendly event, please refrain from trunk décor that is overly spooky or gory.

- Arrive 1 - 1.5 hours before event (12:30-1:00pm)

- You may start packing up at 5:00pm (no earlier)

- Trunk awards will be announced at 5:15pm

- Earliest to leave the lot is 5:30pm – our staff will begin directing cars to the exit in an orderly fashion

- Any cars/clubs/businesses/organizations that do not respect the entry/exit process will be banned from the event in future years.

- Absolutely NO alcoholic beverages allowed at this event

- All participants will receive confirmation with instructions prior to event.

- Sorry no access to electricity

- No canopies or decorations extending more than 3 feet beyond your vehicle

- Candy will be provided

- Park in your designated space given

- Please indicate if you are requesting a larger car space – as we have a limited number of larger spaces, requests are not guaranteed.

- Children must be accompanied by an adult

Awards will be given out to the best trunk in the following categories:

- Best Trunk Overall

- Most Creative/Original

- Funniest

- Spookiest
